English – Literature Mr. Mosher This class will examine different themes, ideas, and topics that are found within the different genre of English and American Literature produced from various time periods. The assignments required for students to receive credit in this class are as follows:   Reading (50% of Grade) Silent in class reading Group reading Reading log  reflecting reading Progress Class work Non Reading (50% of Grade) Internet research ¼ book quiz or study guide 1/2 book quiz or study guide ¾ book quiz or study guide complete book test 2-3 quick write topics relate to the work 1 major paper   A 60 percentile work level is the minimum requirement to receive credit in the class (In other words a D-)
