You may re-watch a movie to refresh your memory. Three hours credit is given for a well-written paper.  Please answer the questions on the second page and attach the page to your paper.

This movie report should be a multi-paragraphed format. Each paragraph should be well developed and numbered. Please attach this paper to your essay. Thanks!

 

  • Include the setting (Chicago, Israel, Arctic) and tell about the plot using a general description.
  • What attitudes are expressed in the film towards (for example) children, minorities, racial classifications?
  • What family patterns are depicted? Are they like or unlike yours and why?
  • What types of conflicts are emphasized? What are the conflicts caused by? Are they people against people, race against race? People against nature? , government, health, prejudice?
  • What are the external triggers of the mani character(s)?
  • What do the people in the movie want? Strive for, believe in?
  • What forces get in their way of what they want to accomplish?
  • What reducers do the characters use? Give one example.
  • How What social skills (see list) did the characters use and give one example.
  • Choose a main character that you like and explain by what standards you evaluate him/her. Religion? Attire? Emotions?
  • Two parts and be honest:
    • Knowing your personality and how you handle stress, how would you have handled the conflicts in the video?
    • How SHOULD you handle conflicts like that?

    Give an evaluation of what you have learned from this movie about yourself.
